Description
Soundsulate acoustical ceiling tiles are an excellent choice for absorbing sound within a room. Great for small businesses, restaurants, home theaters, offices, studios, or anywhere you are looking to reduce the noise, reverberation and echo in a space. They fit into a standard ceiling grid and can be cut easily with a utility knife. The backside of the tiles are made from high quality soft fiberglass and then finished with a rigid, matte black non-woven fabric. Download technical data sheet.
Effective Sound Absorption:
Eliminate unwanted ceiling boundary reflections and control excessive room slap-echo between parallel floor and ceiling surfaces. These tiles will improve signal-to-noise ratio for listening, recording, and conversation.
Applications: Residential and commercial – any space where reverberation or reflected noise is an
issue, such as:
- Home theaters
- Media rooms, performing art spaces
- Recording and broadcast studios
- Clubs and restaurants
- Entertainment facilities and offices

Very nice overall!
These were fantastic. Warning, use a bread knife if you need to cut them and MAKE SURE IT’S level or you may have a hard time getting them to fit! 2″ thick and I did tests with speaking voices at a big pane of glass with and without this in between and it was SIGNIFICANT! I also noticed this helped for noise upstairs and absorbed some of the room noise as well. Pretty basic black with a swirly fiber patter. The back is green-ish but be warned, there must be some fiberglass since I had some nasty itches later. Not as much as pink insulation but still there.
