Thermal Ceramics FireMaster FastWrap XLS is a flexible blanket of high temperature fibers, rated to 2192°F (1200°C) and fully encapsulated in a durable fiber-reinforced foil for clean, fast installation. It is UL and ULC listed for 1- and 2-hour fire resistive enclosures, zero clearance protection of kitchen exhaust ducts, electrical circuit protection, and as a component of UL firestop designs for rated floors, ceilings and walls.
The core uses Thermal Ceramics' patented Superwool alkaline-earth silicate fiber, which has low biopersistence for increased installer safety. FastWrap XLS is covered by UL's Follow-Up Service Program.
